At our Chemainus Health Care Auxiliary meeting today we celebrated with our long-time volunteers: 10-15 years group, 20 -25 years and Nelly Neubauer with 30 years!! Our president, Donna McCasky is pictured with Nelly. Such dedication!
We also unanimously approved the motion to donate $59,168 to the Chemainus Health Care Centre for much needed items ranging from fall mats, a freezer, the music program, linen carts, chairs and bed alarm sensor pads. We also approved the motion to donate $15,115 to Cowichan District Hospital for hover mats. This is what we do with the money we earn at the Chemainus Health Care Auxiliary Thrift Shop. thank you all.
