Supporting Students Through Community Giving
The Ladysmith Health Care Auxiliary is honored to donate $29,920 to Ladysmith Secondary School in support of their Hunger Bites and In reach programs. These initiatives ensure that students have access to healthy meals, snacks, emergency food support, hygiene products, and essential wellness resources—helping young people feel seen, supported, and ready to thrive.
This donation was made possible through the generous contributions of clean, reusable, saleable goods from our community, the loyal support of our Thrift Store customers, and the dedication of our amazing volunteers. Every purchase, every donated item, and every hour of service adds up—and today, it adds up to meaningful support for youth in our community.
We are proud to help ensure that no student goes without basic essentials, and to stand alongside a program that promotes dignity, belonging, and wellbeing for young people right here in Ladysmith.
